Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website limestone-studio.com and the services provided by Limestone Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

Limestone Studio provides digital brand design services including website design, development, deployment, search visibility optimization, and ongoing maintenance for businesses in Kingston, Ontario and surrounding areas.

Project Scope and Pricing

All projects begin with a written proposal that outlines the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and total cost. The quoted price is the final price — we do not charge hidden fees. Any changes to the agreed scope will be discussed and approved by both parties in writing before work proceeds.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive:

• Full ownership of your domain name
• Ownership of all custom design files created for your project
• Ownership of all website code and content
• Full access to hosting and deployment accounts

We retain the right to display the completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. Typical structure:

• 50% deposit to begin work
• 50% upon project completion and approval

For projects under $1,000, full payment may be collected upfront at the client's discretion.

Revisions

All packages include a reasonable number of revisions as specified in your project proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will be communicated and approved before work begins.

Maintenance and Support

All packages include 12 months of maintenance from the date of project launch. Maintenance includes: hosting, SSL certificates, uptime monitoring, content updates (as specified in your plan), and performance optimization. After the initial 12-month period, maintenance can be renewed at rates specified in your original proposal.

Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided in each project proposal. Delays caused by the client (late content delivery, extended review periods) may extend the timeline accordingly. We will communicate proactively if any delays arise on our end.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you wish to cancel a project before completion:

• Before design work begins: full deposit refund
• After design work has started: deposit is non-refundable, but all completed work to date will be delivered to you

Limitation of Liability

Limestone Studio's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of revenue or data.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
